Divisions
Battle Cancer has two divisions so you can compete at your level: Challenge division is the standard, Compete division is harder. All teams are teams of four - male, female or mixed. Mixed teams can be any combination of gender - 2:2 or 1:3.
The Route
Each city’s run loop varies based on our venue. In Scotland, Battle Runners will tackle an outdoor route right beside SEC, giving you quick access to all the action inside at Battle Scotland.
Schedule
5k Individual Start Time: 09:00
(time-capped at 60 mins)

10k Pairs Start Time: 11:00
(time-capped at 90 mins)

15k Team Start Time: 13:00
(time-capped at 90 mins)
Your Time
Each runner will wear a chip timer, either individually or shared within a relay team. The chip tracks your distance and time. In the relay, you can divide the distance however you choose, but each runner must complete a full loop before passing the timer to the next teammate.
Every £1 your team donates or fundraises = 1 point. Your score = Your time + fundraising points.
Divisions
Battle Run offers three distances, allowing you to choose the challenge that suits you best. Race solo or share the experience in a team relay. Each division also includes an option for a hardcore version, where you can add extra grit by wearing a ruck.
All tickets come with the same perks as our other challenges: an athlete t-shirt, finisher’s patch, access to all the action at Battle Scotland, free race and finish line photos, and more!
BATTLE LIFT
Deadlift challenge.
Lift as much weight as possible in a team using one barbell and a set of plates, with the freedom to adjust the weight and rotate teammates as you like.
How it Works
In this team of four event, the goal is to lift the maximum weight possible within 60 minutes - a powerful test of strength and endurance. With one barbell and a set of weights, teams can load as much or as little as needed to achieve the highest total weight lifted and claim the title of Ireland’s strongest team.
Every £1 your team donates or fundraises = another kg to your total.
Schedule
Lifting platforms are available at these times:
10:00 - 11:00

11:15 - 12:15

12:30 - 13:30

13:45 - 14:45

OUR PARTNER CHARITIES IN DUBLIN
The Battle Cancer Program
Our own registered charity, The Battle Cancer Program is a 12-week fitness program designed to build strength, improve fitness, and boost mental wellbeing for people post-cancer treatment.

Our participants track progress with two classes per week, and small group sizes mean plenty of support from coaches and their classmates, all united by a shared experience of cancer.
