Battle Cancer Manchester 2018

After the success of 2017, Battle Cancer returned to Manchester in 2018 bigger and better.

Looking around you were able to see a lot of familiar faces of athletes, judges and volunteers that participated in last year’s edition, but also several new teams that got on board this year to stand together with their mates and raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

170 teams took the competition floor on August the 4th. The day started off with a heartwarming speech by event co-owner Scott Britton who reminded everybody that they came to support somebody dealing with cancer, to celebrate somebody that has survived it or to remember somebody dear that is no longer with us. Therefore Battle Cancer’s goal is to kick cancer into the dust. And next thing you know the entire comp floor is flooded with the 680 athletes who are all doing a massive warm up, from squatting to jumping jacks.
