We’re beyond excited to bring Battle Cancer to Berlin in 2019. Our official charity will be the German Cancer Research Centre, but remember you can fundraise for any cancer charity close to your heart. MC’d by CrossFit Grenzgänger coach and Nike Master trainer, Alex Hipwell, Berlin is set to be a high-octane Battle Cancer comp not to be missed.

No RX or scaled, just one fun and accessible standard
Standards
No qualifiers, no complicated skills, and no extreme standards, our workouts are designed so that professional athletes may compete next to experienced gym-goers, first timers and cancer survivors.
We understand that movements don’t need to be advanced or incorporate heavy RX loads to challenge you and your team.
Our programming gives athletes a range of methods and options to complete the workout, but don’t be fooled! While accessible, our workouts test even the most seasoned competitors and athletes.
Further equipment may be added but will not exceed the weights stated.
Are you an adaptive athlete? Do you have serious injuries which limit your ability to complete certain movements? On the day our judges are briefed to consult with the head judge and make scaled adjustments so that you can put your all into the workout.

Beach Mitte
Berlin, we’re going to the beach! Get ready to throwdown in the sand as we head over to our new location, Beach Mitte. Still in partnership with our friends at CrossFit Grenzgänger, you’ll also have the opportunity to experience their box in the closing WOD.

Set in the heart of Berlin just around the corner from Beach Mitte, CrossFit Grenzgänger is an impressive box set across three levels with a subterranean gym floor. High ceilings, giant disco ball, industrial metalwork and walls made from reclaimed wood and chalkboard paint, it’s old-school gym vibe is one of the coolest we’ve seen.
On the doorstep of some of the best sights Berlin has to offer, CrossFit Grenzgänger’s central Mitte neighbourhood location is brimming with history, culture, food and drink to discover.
